Eurecat and Perseus Biomincs at the 2nd Symposium of the Center for Omic Sciences
Oct 22, 2024.
The second Omics Science Symposium, organised by Eurecat, was held last week. This event brought together experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics, and their impact on health, disease and environmental studies. During the symposium, Perseus Biomics presented its lecture entitled «The insights of shotgun, the price of 16S and the speed of PCR: Optical Mapping redefines microbiome profiling», highlighting how this innovative technique is revolutionising microbiome profiling.
Both organisations, Eurecat and Perseus Biomics, are members of the OPADE project consortium.
We are very proud to be represented at this important event and thank them for their commitment and contribution to the advancement of our research. Their participation not only enriches our knowledge, but also strengthens the collaboration between the different actors of the consortium, bringing us closer to our goals of optimising and predicting the efficacy of treatments for patients with major depressive disorders through multi-omics analysis and predictive tools based on artificial intelligence.
