Oct 31, 2024.
We are proud to announce that our colleagues from Eurecat, who teach a course on Biobusiness in the Biotechnology PhD programme at the Andrés Bello University in Santiago, Chile, have presented OPADE as an outstanding example.
Biobusinesses are initiatives that integrate sustainability and responsible use of resources into their operations. These projects not only seek to generate economic benefits, but also promote, in the biomedical field, the correct utilisation of medical assets and social welfare. They aim to minimise environmental impact, actively contribute to a personalized medicine foster innovation and social responsibility.
The OPADE research project is an excellent example of bio-business, as it combines scientific research with sustainability and community welfare. Through the development of predictive tools based on artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve the treatment of depression, OPADE seeks to optimise the use of biological resources and reduce environmental impact through a personalised treatment.
We are proud that OPADE is recognised in such a prestigious academic environment, and we will continue to work to demonstrate the positive impact that science and sustainability can have on our communities and the environment.
Together towards a more sustainable and healthy future!
